external participants Target Audience This program is designed for
students interested in autonomous systems, as well as participants seeking
foundational knowledge in software, electronics, mechatronics, and computer
engineering. It is also suitable for individuals who wish to gain practical
experience in robotics and embedded systems, and for those aiming to develop
competencies in Industry 4.0, defense technologies, transportation, and smart
systems. Program
Objective The objective of this program is
to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the basic
components, operating principles, and application areas of autonomous systems.
Through both theoretical instruction and hands-on examples, the program covers
core elements such as sensor technologies, perception and decision-making
mechanisms, control algorithms, and system architecture, enabling participants
to build a strong technical foundation. Program Topics
Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of
this program, participants will gain the ability to explain the fundamental
building blocks and operational logic of autonomous systems. They will
understand the relationships between sensing, perception, decision-making, and
control loops, and will be able to interpret basic sensor data to develop
simple perception and control applications. Participants will also comprehend
the core principles of path planning and obstacle avoidance algorithms and
become familiar with commonly used communication protocols such as I2C, SPI,
and CAN. Additionally, they will acquire the capability to evaluate the
application areas of autonomous systems across industry, defense,
transportation, and robotics sectors.
