Note: This program is exclusively for psychological counselors at the Bursa Mustafa Kemal Paşa Guidance and Research Center.

Objective of the Training: The goal of this training is to enhance the knowledge, skills, and awareness of educators and psychological counselors in combating peer bullying. The training focuses on understanding the types and impacts of bullying, developing strategies for preventing and managing bullying behaviors, and equipping participants with creative and innovative solutions. It aims to help participants recognize peer bullying and understand its effects on individuals and communities. Creative methods such as art therapy, empathy development, and group work will be explored in detail to address bullying. The training will also provide the necessary tools and strategies for effective intervention in bullying situations, while promoting communication and collaboration between teachers, parents, and students. Ultimately, it seeks to contribute to creating a healthier and safer school environment and supporting the individual development of students.

Training Content:
• What is peer bullying? Its types and scope.
• Examples of physical, verbal, social, and cyberbullying.
• Roles in bullying: The bully, the victim, and the bystanders.
• Individual and societal effects of bullying.
• Psychological state of the victim and the bully: Behavioral and emotional consequences.
• Long-term effects of bullying: Distrust, academic failure, and social isolation.
• Recognizing the signs of bullying and early intervention.
• Raising awareness among teachers, parents, and students.
• Policies to reduce risk factors in the school environment.
• Art therapy, drama, and group activities.
• Empathy-building activities and problem-solving skills.
• Creative approaches to coping with bullying.
• Anti-bullying policies in educational institutions.
• Strengthening school-family cooperation.
• Community-based examples of anti-bullying solidarity.
• Case studies and solution proposals.
• Role-playing and group work.
• Developing creative solution proposals.

Learning Outcomes:
